Course Description
At Turkish International School, we believe that physical education is just as important as academics. Our Sports Activities Program is designed to promote health, discipline, and teamwork in a structured yet enjoyable environment. We focus on developing both physical fitness and character building through a variety of sports and games.
Students participate in football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, athletics, swimming, and table tennis, among other activities. We also offer specialized programs such as yoga for flexibility, strength training, and fitness drills, ensuring every child can find a sport they enjoy.
Our sports curriculum is supervised by professional coaches and physical education experts who emphasize proper technique, injury prevention, and sportsmanship. Students learn about the importance of nutrition, endurance, agility, and mental focus alongside physical training.
We host Annual Sports Days, Inter-House Competitions, and Inter-School Tournaments, providing students with opportunities to compete and develop leadership skills. Through team sports, students learn valuable life lessons such as collaboration, resilience, handling wins and losses gracefully, and setting personal goals.
Our campus includes modern sports facilities, including indoor gyms, outdoor fields, and a dedicated sports arena, creating the perfect setting for students to pursue athletic excellence.
