Overview
Course Description
At Turkish International School, spiritual growth and character development are central to our mission. Our Islamic Studies Program is designed to nurture the moral and ethical values of students while deepening their understanding of Islamic teachings and traditions.
Students engage in daily lessons covering Quranic studies, Tajweed, Hadith, Islamic history, Fiqh, and Seerah. Special classes focus on Quranic memorization (Hifz), Duas, and practical applications of Islamic principles in daily life.
We emphasize the development of Akhlaq (character) and Adab (manners), encouraging students to practice kindness, honesty, and respect in their interactions with others. Islamic ethics, social responsibility, and community service projects are integrated into the curriculum to promote real-world application of learned values.
Our Islamic Studies department uses interactive teaching methods, including storytelling, role-playing, and multimedia presentations, to make religious education engaging and relatable. Regular Quran Competitions, Naat Recitations, and Islamic Knowledge Quizzes foster a love for learning about faith.
By participating in this program, students develop a strong spiritual foundation, preparing them to become responsible, ethical, and compassionate global citizens.
